About Black Larvikite (Moonstone)
Black Larvikite is known by many names - Black Moonstone, Black Labradorite, Blue Pearl Granite, Blue Norwegian Moonstone, Marina Blue Star and more! It's an igneous rock only found in the Oslo-rift near Larvik, Norway. It's in the same family as Moonstone. In addition to using Larvikite as a gemstone, it is popular as a facing stone in buildings - it's used in New York City's United Nations building, many big banks and many pubs in the U.K.
Black Larvikite is believed to elevate consciousness and protect your aura, keeping it clear, balanced and protected. Healers believe the stone helps maintain vitality and youthfulness.
About Argentium® Sterling Silver
Argentium® – The Finest Silver - is a purer version of Sterling Silver that is also highly tarnish resistant. Standard "Sterling Silver" is an alloy composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Thus, you see "925 Sterling Silver".
Argentium® is made with 93.5% silver and 6.5% other metals, including germanium and copper, which gives Argentium® additional beneficial properties for jewelry makers. For my jewelry, the biggest benefit of using Argentium® instead of regular Sterling Silver is that it is much more tarnish resistant.
In addition, Argentium® is responsibly manufactured, ethically sourced, and certified to be made with 100% recycled silver.
