Howlite is a naturally white stone that appears with veins that look like a spiderweb pattern. As it grows, Howlite forms in nodule heads that look like cauliflower. Although it was first located in Nova Scotia, the stone's largest global deposits are in California where nodules can commonly weigh over 100 pounds.
Howlite is known as the stone of memory, knowledge and progress. It is said to encourage reasoning, observation and patience.
